KEBERADAAN PELAJAR DI KAMPUS SEMASA TEMPOH PERINTAH KAWALAN PERGERAKAN BERSYARAT UNIVERSITI MALAYA


Susulan penutupan kampus utama Universiti Malaya (UM) sepanjang tempoh Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat (PKPB) dari 14 Oktober sehingga 27 Oktober 2020, semua aktiviti pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) secara bersemuka adalah tidak dibenarkan dan hendaklah dilaksanakan secara dalam talian sepenuhnya. 

Walau bagaimanapun, Universiti memberi kelonggaran kepada pelajar berkeperluan untuk masuk ke kampus mengikut waktu pejabat tertakluk kepada kelulusan Ketua Pusat Tanggungjawab (PTj). Kategori pelajar yang dibenarkan masuk ke kampus adalah:
 

  1. Pelajar ijazah tinggi mod penyelidikan yang perlu menyambung penyelidikan dan berkeperluan hadir secara fizikal ke makmal, bengkel, studio reka bentuk atau memerlukan peralatan khusus bagi menjalankan penyelidikan; dan
  2. Pelajar luar kampus yang tiada capaian internet diperlukan atau persekitaran yang kondusif bagi melaksanakan PdP dalam talian serta perlu menggunakan infrastruktur di kampus bagi PdP secara dalam talian.


Demi keselamatan dan kesejahteraan semua pihak, para pelajar dinasihatkan supaya sentiasa mematuhi prosedur operasi standard kesihatan dan keselamatan yang ditetapkan.

STUDENTS’ PRESENCE ON CAMPUS DURING UNIVERSITI MALAYA CONDITIONAL MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER 


Following the closure of the Universiti Malaya (UM) main campus during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) from 14 October until 27 October 2020, all face-to-face teaching and learning (T&L) activities are not allowed and shall be conducted fully online.

However, the University is giving flexibility to students who need to be on campus during office hours, subject to the approval of their Heads of PTjs. The categories of students who are allowed to be on campus are:

  1. Postgraduate students of research mode who are required to resume their research and be physically present at laboratories, workshops, design studios or requiring specialised equipment to conduct their research; and
  2. Off-campus students who do not have sufficient internet access or a conducive environment to carry out T&L online, and need to use the campus infrastructure for online T&L.

In the interest of your safety and wellbeing, students are advised to comply with the relevant health and safety standard operating procedures at all times.
