The Universiti Malaya Management Committee (JKPU) meeting on 7 September 2021 has agreed to approve the use of the Zero Tolerance Code of Exploitation, Abuse and Sexual Harassment in University Malaya (UM) to replace the existing code which is the Code of Practice on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Harassment Cases in the University of Malaya.
The Zero Tolerance Code of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment in Universiti Malaya (UM) is enforced to all UM communities and the external parties who deal with UM in order to provide the explanation and accurate information on the effects of sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment, complaint procedures and compliance with regulations as well as the laws in force in line to make the UM Campus is free from sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment cases.
