PELAJAR / STUDENTS

  1. Adakah saya dibenarkan pulang ke kampung halaman/negara asal?
    Am I allowed to return home/country of origin?

    Bermula 18 hingga 31 Mac 2020, semua pelajar yang masih lagi berada di Kolej Kediaman/luar kampus tidak dibenarkan untuk pulang ke kampung halaman/negara asal masing-masing berdasarkan arahan semasa yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia melalui Soalan Lazim (FAQ) bertarikh 18 Mac 2020.
    Pelajar perlu melaporkan diri ke Pejabat Hal Ehwal Pelajar (Pengetua Kolej Kediaman/luar kampus).

    Beginning 18 till 31 March 2020, students who are still residing at the Residential College/off-campus will not be allowed to return home/country of origin based on current circular by Ministry of Education through FAQ issued on 18 March 2020.
    Students are required to report their presence at the Students’ Affairs Office (Master of Residential College/off-campus).

  2. Boleh ibu bapa saya mengambil saya di kolej kediaman/luar kampus untuk pulang ke rumah?
    Are my parents allowed to fetch me from the residential college for home bound?

    Tidak boleh, semua pelajar yang masih berada di Kolej Kediaman/luar kampus perlu berada di kediaman masing-masing.

    All students who are still residing at the Residential College/Off-Campus are required to stay where you are.

  3. Saya pelajar antarabangsa dan tinggal di luar kampus.  Perlukah saya memaklumkan pihak universiti yang saya masih berada di Malaysia?
    I am an International student who is not residing in the campus. Am I required to inform the University that I am still in the country?

    Ya, anda perlu. Sila lengkapkan Borang Lapor Diri Pelajar yang Tidak Pulang yang telah diedarkan melalui Student Info.

    Yes, you are required to fill up the Reporting Form for Students Who Are Residing On/Off Campus through Student Info.

  4. Saya  pelajar  UM  tetapi  ditempatkan   di   PPUM.   Adakah   saya   perlu   datang  ke bertugas / menjalankan tugas-tugas penyelidikan saya?
    I am a UM student stationed at UMMC. Am I required to be at work to do my research?

    Sebagai pelajar, anda tidak perlu hadir kerana semua urusan pengajaran dan pembelajaran serta penyelidikan diberhentikan mulai 18 Mac - 31 Mac 2020.
    Pelajar dinasihatkan untuk berbincang dengan Penyelia / Penyelidik Utama / Ketua Jabatan mengenai keperluan untuk hadir ke makmal/pejabat.
    Ketua PTj hendaklah mendapat kebenaran dari Pengurusan Tertinggi mengikut portfolio masing-masing sebelum mengarahkan pelajar dan penyelidik untuk bertugas.

    Your presence as a student are not required as all teaching and learning activities as well as research are suspended from 18 to 31 March 2020.
    Students are advised to discuss with your respective Supervisor / Research Leader / Head of Department / on the needs of your presence at the lab / office.
    Head of PTj are required to submit the approval from the Top Management (based on respective portfolios) along with the list of staff who will be working.

  5. Saya adalah pelajar UM yang menjalani latihan industri di luar kampus. Adakah  saya juga tertakluk kepada Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan?
    I am a UM student who is currently doing internship off campus. Am I required to comply with the Movement Control Order?

    Ya, sila rujuk Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan UM yang telah dikeluarkan pada 17 Mac 2020 dan Soalan Lazim (FAQ) yang telah dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia bertarikh 18 Mac 2020. Semua maklumat tersebut boleh didapati di media sosial rasmi UM dan melalui Siswamail.

    Yes, please refer to Universiti Malaya Movement Control Order issued on 17 March 2020 and FAQ issued by Ministry of Education dated 18 Mac 2020. It can be access via UM Social Media and Siswamail.

  6. Di manakah saya boleh membeli makanan di dalam kampus?
    Is there any food outlet available in the campus?

    Kafeteria di KK1, KK2, KK4, KK5, KK6, KK7, KK8, KK9, KK11 dan KK12 beroperasi bagi pembelian makanan yang hanya untuk dibawa pulang sahaja.
    Pelajar juga boleh membeli makanan menggunakan servis penghantaran makanan seperti FoodPanda atau GrabFood.

    Cafeterias at KK1, KK2, KK4, KK5, KK6, KK7, KK8, KK9, KK11 dan KK12 are operating as usual. Only takeaway are allowed.
    Food delivery services (ie GrabFood, Foodpanda etc) are allowed.

  7. Saya tidak sihat, boleh saya dapatkan rawatan di Klinik Kesihatan Pelajar?
    I am feeling unwell. Am I allowed to seek medical treatment at the Student Health Clinic?

    Klinik Kesihatan Pelajar dibuka seperti biasa dari jam 8.00 pagi sehingga 5.00 petang (Isnin-Jumaat).
    Waktu rehat dari jam 1-2 petang, 12.15 tengah hari -2.45 petang (Jumaat).
    Hotline Klinik Kesihatan Pelajar: 017-7393646 (Beroperasi dari 8.00 pagi hingga 10.00 malam, setiap hari).

    Student Health Clinic operational hours : 8.00 am – 5.00 pm every day except Saturday and Sunday.
    Lunch hour : 1-2 pm, 12.15 – 2.45 pm (Friday).
    Hotline number : 017-7393646 (Operation hour from 8.00 am – 10.00 pm, everyday).

  8. Di mana kawasan kuarantin pelajar?
    Where are the students would be quarantined?

    KK10 bagi Prosedur Pengawasan Terpusat
    Banglo Rumah Kediaman Universiti (RKU) di Seksyen 16 bagi kes yang dibawah pengawasan dan siasatan.

    KK10 for Centralised Home Surveillance procedure
    Universities’ house (Bungalow) Section 16 for Person Under Surveillance and Person Under Investigation.

STAF / STAFF

  1. Perlu saya clock-in semasa saya bekerja dari rumah?
    Am I required to clock-in when I am working from home?

    Tidak perlu.

    No.

  2. Boleh saya hadir bekerja di dalam kampus?
    Can I be present for work in the campus?

    Arahan untuk hadir bekerja di pejabat adalah TIDAK DIBENARKAN kecuali bagi urusan perkhidmatan penting dan kritikal sahaja.

    Ketua Pusat Tanggungjawab yang ingin mengarahkan staf untuk datang bekerja di pejabat hendaklah mendapat kebenaran dari Pengurusan Tertinggi mengikut portfolio masing-masing terlebih dahulu sebelum arahan dikeluarkan.

    Ketua Pusat Tanggungjawab hendaklah mengemukakan kelulusan Pengurusan Tertinggi serta senarai staf yang perlu hadir bekerja di pejabat kepada pihak Keselamatan melalui e-mel (keselamatan@um.edu.my) untuk tujuan rekod dan pemantauan.

    Staf hendaklah mengemukakan kad staf untuk tujuan pengenalan diri kepada pihak Keselamatan di pintu masuk Kuala Lumpur.

    Untuk memastikan kehadiran staf yang telah menerima arahan bekerja di pejabat direkodkan, staf perlu clock in apabila tiba di pejabat dan clock out sebaik sahaja urusan pejabat selesai.

    Directive to come from work in the campus is NOT ALLOWED except for essential and critical services only.

    Head of Responsibility Centers who intend to authorise their staff to work at the office shall seek permission in advance from the Top Management based on their respective portfolios.

    Head of Responsibility Centers are required to submit the approval from the Top Management along with the list of staff who will be working in the campus, to the Security Office via e-mail (keselamatan@um.edu.my) for record and monitoring purposes.

    Staff is required to present their staff card to the security personnel at the Kuala Lumpur main entrance for identification purposes.

    To ensure attendance of staff is recorded, staff is required to clock in as soon as they arrive at the office and clock out immediately after their assigned tasks at work have been completed.

  3. Perlukah saya memohon cuti sekiranya saya diminta untuk menjalankan self- quarantine selama 14 hari?
    Am I required to apply for leave if I am asked to undergo self-quarantine for 14 days?

    Tidak perlu sekiranya staf telah diberi arahan self-quarantine dan telah mendapat Borang Perintah Home Surveillance daripada Pusat Kesihatan Daerah atau mana-mana Pusat Perubatan yang berhampiran.

    No if you’ve received Home Surveillance Form issued by District Health Office or any medical center nearby.

LAIN-LAIN / OTHERS

  1. Adakah laluan masuk UM dibuka?
    Which gates are open to enter the campus

    Hanya pintu utama KL dibuka sepanjang tempoh perintah kawalan pergerakan.
    Pihak Keselamatan ditugaskan untuk membuat penyaringan bagi kenderaan yang masuk ke kawasan kampus.

    Only the Kuala Lumpur main-gate open throughout the Movement Control Order. Check point at the main-gate will be done by Security Office.

  2. Boleh saya bersukan di UM?
    Am I allowed to do sports activities in the campus?

    Fasiliti sukan ditutup dan tidak boleh digunakan. Pelajar tidak dibenarkan untuk membuat aktiviti sukan secara individu atau berkumpulan.

    All sports facilities are closed. Students are not allowed to perform individual or group sports activities.

  3. Adakah pengangkutan awam dibenarkan untuk keluar/masuk kampus?
    Is Public transport allowed to enter?

    Bas Rapid KL masih dibenarkan masuk ke kawasan kampus dan perkhidmatan ehailing (seperti Grab, teksi dll) dibenarkan masuk tetapi perlu berdaftar di pintu masuk KL.
    Shuttle bus UM tidak beroperasi dari 18-31 Mac 2020.

    Rapid KL buses are permitted to enter the campus, e-hailing service (ie grab, taxi etc) is required to register at main-gate.
    UM Shuttle buses will not be operating from 18 – 31 March 2020.

  4. Bolehkah kontraktor menjalankan aktiviti penyelenggaraan di dalam kampus?
    Is any of the contractors able to do maintenance activity inside the campus?

    Boleh masuk dengan mengemukakan surat/jadual penyelenggaraan yang perlu dilakukan serta kebenaran dari Pengurusan Tertinggi dan dikemukakan kepada Pengawal Keselamatan di pintu masuk KL.

    Official letter/scheduled and approval from Top Management must be present to security at the main-gate.

  5. Bagaimana saya boleh salurkan aduan berhubung ganguan capaian UM WiFi di dalam kampus?
    How do I report a disruption of UM WiFi in the campus?

    Pusat Teknologi Maklumat, UM telah menyediakan Sistem Helpdesk bagi memudahkan semua staf dan pelajar membuat aduan mengenai masalah ICT secara atas talian. Sistem ini boleh dilayari di pautan http://helpdesk.um.edu.my menggunakan akaun e-mel UM. Sistem ini juga boleh diakses melalui UMPortal bagi staf dan MyUM bagi pelajar.

    Centre of Information Technology, UM has provided the Helpdesk System to facilitate staff and students to make online complaints on ICT problems. The system can be accessed via the link http://helpdesk.um.edu.my using UM email account. The system can also be accessed through UMPortal for staff and MyUM for students.

  6. Bagaimana hendak memulangkan buku perpustakaan?
    How to return library books?

    Semua buku yang dipinjam dengan tarikh pemulangan antara 18-31 Mac 2020, tempoh pinjaman telah dilanjutkan sehingga 5 April 2020. Peminjam juga boleh memperbaharui pinjaman secara atas talian melalui MyAccount di www.pendeta.um.edu.my.

    Due dates for loaned books between 18-13 Mac 2020 have been extended until 5 April 2020. Renewal of the borrowed library materials can also be done online via MyAccount at www.pendeta.um.edu.my.

  7. Bagaimanakah caranya untuk individu/organisasi memberikan bantuan kepada pelajar/staf?
    What are the methods available for individuals/organisations to make donation to the students/staff?

    One-Stop Center telah diwujudkan (terletak bersebelahan pos pengawal di pintu masuk Kuala Lumpur) bagi memudahkan kepada mana-mana pihak yang ingin memberi sumbangan berbentuk makanan kering yang berkhasiat dan barangan keperluan harian.

    Bagi bantuan berbentuk kewangan, sila salurkan melalui Portal E-Pay UM https://epay.um.edu.my
    > Derma > COVID-19 UM
    ataupun melalui pindahan wang ke Bank CIMB (nombor akaun 98905000001249; rujukan DERMA COVID-19).

    A One-Stop Centre is also operational (situated near the guard post at KL main gate) to facilitate collection and distribution of dry goods and daily essentials.
